Harder than many of the big developer's hidden object games. I don't know why it's called a "Collector's Edition," and if I had paid more I would have been upset by the lack of anything "collector edition" related. No bonus play, no strategy guide, no map, no collectibles, no achievements... so don't expect them! But, do expect a harder game with a bit more bite to it. I mean, no cutesy-ness, but some blood and gruesomeness instead. The hidden object scenes are basic, not interactive, but not easy either. Some are silhouettes, and I discovered it's easier to drag the shadow to the object, not to click. You need the hint! It is not always terribly helpful, so plan on revisiting scenes to look for more HOS etc. I do recommend this game, especially at this weekend's price of 24 cents!. Sadly, I think some more time and effort should have been put into this game. As I also work in the industry of games, I was expecting more to it... First, my game was set on French, I would have preferred english, and the translations in French are REALLY BAD. Sometimes I wasn't sure if I was looking for the correct object in the hidden objects.Also, the hidden objects where you have to find the objects helped by a shape of the object isn't great... Example: When you get a shadowed-item that is just round. You basically have to click on every round object to find the one you were looking for. Sometimes, the item was hard to click on. And also, when the object was revealed, it wasn't drawn completely, which made it look a bit weird, all cropped by the shape of the item in front of it.Sometimes, it wasn't very intuitive, and the hints are not always really helpful, as they tend to be really vague... I've seen a few bugs also, text disapearing, weird letters at some places, and wrong text sometimes for some events. Example: Find the playcards! (But the image is a knife, a spoon and a fork, wth?). Or words that didn't translate from english to french. Trouvez les Hammers! Also, maybe this is personal, but the text in french at the bottom + The character speaking in english was very confusing for me, all at the same time, it was hard to follow.But, Art is really beautiful! Gratz to the artist!I recommend this game if it's really cheap, other case no.... Oh man, where do I begin, so I was about an hour in to this game, which I assume takes maybe an hour an a half tops to beat due to how easy the puzzles are and how linear the gameplay is. And then I had to do a puzzle that required me to use a pocket watch that I picked up earlier in the game, went to find the pocket watch aannnnnnd it's gone. So unless I feel like restarting this game, and oh boy I REALLY don't, I can't beat it. I have played a lot of these types of games and trust me, there are much better ones to waste your time on with far better writing and wayyyy better hit boxes in mini games and HO scenes.. Cool game. only 2 hours playtime. some minor translation failures to german and a few bugs on the clickboxes, but over all worth buying. It is just plain boring. The story makes no sense and the graphics are poor.. Good for children.. This is definitely not one of the better games I've played. The story was weak (a psychic detective that can't tell the diff between living and dead people) and the mini-puzzles were pointless. There was absolutely no challenge in the repeated "complete the jigsaw puzzle" items. The animation is non-existent and there is no way to skip some of the cut-scenes. Unless you catch it on sale for under $1 like I did, give this one a miss.
